Living in a busy metropolis like Manila, most of us don’t have the luxury of time and budget to travel for some relaxation in a hotel room while enjoying a tranquil view of the ocean. But what if I told you that you don’t need to leave the city to enjoy all the good things and without breaking your savings? Introducing Lime Resort Manila.
Lime Resort Manila is one of the newest hotel resorts in the CCP complex facing Manila bay. Most of its rooms will give you an amazing view of the bustling city and the sparkling water of the bay.
I love getting a room with a bay or ocean view. The calm water is a delightful view. Just by staring at it, I feel like I can remain calm.
For my staycation, I got a Deluxe Twin Room at Lime Resort Manila with a balcony facing SM Mall of Asia. The balcony is a perfect spot for having some me-time while waiting for someone to come out of the shower. Imagine yourself sipping a cup of coffee in the morning or reading a book in the evening. I would usually enjoy lounging on the balcony and simply observing the city and the bay. This is something that I don’t get to do at home, so I took advantage of the mesmerizing horizon in front of me.
It’s a 25 sqm room with two double beds. Air conditioning unit was working well. Netflix and chill is a great experience with the room’s 32” LED flat screen TV. Store some of your favorite drinks in the mini fridge. If you’re going out, you can leave your valuables in the safety deposit box. For when you need to get some emails or meetings done, a desk is available for you together with a coffee and tea-maker and complimentary access to their fast WIFI internet. The bathrooms are equipped with a rainfall shower with hot and cold water, toiletries, and hairdryer.
Mood lighting is a plus–you can easily adjust the brightness and color of the light depending on your mood (or it can even elevate your mood). And it has an automatic curtain opener for when you feel like acting “daring.”
Luxury Amenities and Breathtaking Views
The main hotel lobby can be found on the second floor. I was surprised to see a lot of Filipino families with young kids enjoying their staycation.
Check-in was fast and straightforward. It can get a little slow during peak hours, considering that Lime Resort Manila seems to be the newest favorite staycation spot of Filipino family travelers. But generally, it’s stress and hassle free.
Lime Resort Manila has a gym, so if you don’t want to miss your workout routine even on vacation, the hotel has got you. There’s also a spa if you want to recharge your mind and body after doing a whole day of activities and before ending your staycation.
The main restaurant called the Bayside Buffet can be found next to the newly opened Lime Beach Club on the ground floor. This is where we had our breakfast buffet which is inclusive in the hotel rate if you book via this link. Lime Beach Club, on the other hand, is the newest and coolest place to party while watching the famous Manila Bay sunset.
And probably one of the highlights that drive many people to book this hotel is their roof deck lounge pool, where you can have an unobstructed view of the Manila Bay sunset. There is also a lounge bar where you can order some drinks and listen to live music.
Lime Resort Manila is located along Atang Dela Rama Street, Seascape Village, CCP Complex, Pasay. It is 25 minutes away from NAIA airport, 1.2km away from CCP, and just 1.7km away from Mall of Asia. The hotel is sitting next to the Seascape Village Bay Market, which houses a wide array of restaurants and take-out counters and features a wet and dry market area, offering fresh seafood, special ingredients, assortment of spices, seasonings, fruits, and vegetables. Such a perfect spot to be in if you’re a foodie.
If you need a quick vacation on a budget but don’t have time to leave Manila, you can highly consider booking a staycation at Lime Resort Manila. Rate starts at P3,000 with breakfast when you book through this link.
