As Ms. Maria Mariska (PR Executive) toured us around the resort, I was astounded as we walked in the hallway. Its interior design will make you feel connected to nature. There are vertical woods incorporated with green plants that serve as the wall, which is thoughtfully designed to give natural lights, warmth, and ventilation.

The elements of stones, plants, and woods are highly visible in the surroundings perfectly placed to create an oasis. Ms. Mariska explained, “Alila Seminyak is committed to showcasing environmentally sustainable architecture.” They use local products and their woods are recycled materials.

When we moved to their beach bar, she added that they have sunset symphony Thursday through Sunday from 5:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. Guest can chill at the beach bar while drinking their favorite cocktails and enjoying the beats and rhythms, which follows the sunset. That’s something you shouldn’t miss during your stay.

I got a deluxe room close to the street of Seminyak and just a few minutes away from the beach. If you don’t feel like walking back and forth from the lobby to your room, there is a 24-hour buggy transfer that you can ride.

The room is like in a perfect magazine cover where the king-size bed is flawlessly placed at the center. I slowly pressed the clean and white mattress to feel how soft it is without making any wrinkle and it’s irresistibly soft.

Deluxe room is 72 sqm wide allowing you to move conveniently. It’s equipped with a 40″ SMART TV, which I truly enjoyed using. It’s already connected to their strong Wi-Fi and their sound system was really great when I played music videos. There’s a minibar, coffee/tea-making facilities, and complete bath amenities.

The clear white ceiling is not that high, the tiled floor is a polished creamy white and the wall was designed like flawless bricks. Generally, the room is free of dust or any clutter. Next to it is quick access to the pool area divided by a glass door with cream and brown curtains.

The next day, I woke up feeling excited to try their breakfast buffet, unlike any other hotels that I’ve been to, the main menu on their buffet was pre-ordered. Though there are some foods like salads, pieces of bread, and fruits on the table.

This is something you shouldn’t miss when you stay at Alila because the food is really delicious. The management understands that their guest could party until late night, that’s why they’re extending the breakfast buffet until 10:00 a.m That’s pretty awesome!

Alila Seminyak is the kind of hotel that is hard to leave. The feeling of the oasis in the middle of the busy city of Bali is really refreshing. Everything about this hotel is pure luxury.
